Home to the Haida Nation, Haida Gwaii is an archipelago located 55–125 km (34–78 mi) off the northern Pacific coast of kanata (Canada). The islands are separated from the mainland to the east by Hecate Strait. Queen Charlotte Sound lies to the south of the archipelago and Dixon Entrance to the North.
